Universal Space Video Game (UNIS) hosted a very successful Open Day at their USA Center in Dallas last week.
During the three-day event, US distributors and operators spent quality time working with the staff at UNIS to test and evaluate a range new machines due to be launched into the US market in 2015.
Steven Tan, International Sales Manager at UNIS was delighted at how well the event had gone. ” We held the Open House for the first time last year, and due to its success held even a bigger event this year. We have received vital feedback and interaction from our US distributor and operator partners regarding our machine designs as well as excellent discussions cementing working partnerships with the industry”.
“This has been a most valuable experience. Having a manufacturer host an Open House, showcase new games and allow us to incorporate comments is a very unique experience!” enthused Mike Abecassis from GameTime.
Among the top games that were on demo at the Open Day was a brand new addition to the UNIS Carnival Range, Barrel of Laughs, “A fun carnival theme. Easy to understand and lots of action” said Jon Brady (Brady Distributing)
Neil Miller from AVS thought that Monkey Shakedown was “ one of the top ideas on the floor. It is a very unique take on a traditional whacker game.”
“The Open House was a great way to showcase UNIS games!” remarked Jim Pinkston from FEG.
R&D at UNIS will now be taking all the evaluation information and tweaking/updating their new games before their launch at IAAPA next month.
