IAAPA 2008 Post Show Review
he IAAPA Expo 2008 was held last week in Orlando Florida at the Orange County Convention Centre November 18th – 21st.
The overall traffic might
have been a bit lighter than previous years due to the
slowdown in the U.S. economy. Like many exhibitors, UNIS
went in not quite knowing what to expect, but the show
turned out to be a great show for us! We have had some
quality meetings with new and old clients who expressed
great interest in our new 2009 lines.
We also received
a lot of positive feedback on games such as Jungle Drummer,
Boogie Down, Cyber Ticket and Heads or Tails. Among the
games brought, X-Ball turned out to be a surprise hit
of the show! We received numerous inquiries about this
game. The touch-screen technology combined with the overall
presentation of the game attracted much attention from
both local and international attendees alike.
UNIS also
launched a new kiddy ride with monitor: the Mini Police
Car, it is similar to our Police Rider but smaller in
size and with new improvements. This piece was a clear
favorite amongst younger kids. Family Bowl remains strong
in the bowling simulation category.

UNIS will be launching more new lines at the ATEI show in London, leading all the way to ASI show in Las Vegas.
We will be providing more
information over the next few weeks, up until January’s ATEI which will kick start the new fiscal year in 2009.
A big “Thank
You” to all our clients for their continuous support
despite these turbulent times.
