Taiwan’s Annual GTI Asia Taipei Expo (GTI EXPO)

Taiwan’s Annual GTI Asia Taipei Expo (GTI EXPO) took place May 8th to May 10th. GTI is one of the largest trade shows in Asia. The show always attracts a large number of manufacturers, distributors and buyers from all over the world to view the latest technologies and amusement products. Over 120 companies exhibited- UNIS was of course one of them! We brought games such as Battle Forge, Aliens, Pharaoh’s Treasure, Pirate Revenge and many others.

Walking around the show floor, there were many new and interesting products displayed by other companies. We noticed Konami brought a new game to the show called Jubeat. The game is very attractive in appearance and we also found the game play to be very fascinating.

Jubeat

It is a touch-screen music game with fabulous animated graphics and excellent music. When you play this game, it feels like you are dancing with your both hands!

The game play is very simple. There are 16 virtual buttons on the touch screen. When the music is on, animated graphics will pop up from the buttons, players then need to press the buttons in time to score.

It is definitely an interesting game worth noting. Overall the show still ranks as one of the premier international shows, ranking quite high among all the other high profile shows such as IAAPA or ATEI (London)!
